Comfort line
Meet our new last
The 2E (or EE) fit refers to the width of the shoe, not the length. Shoes are measured on a width scale that runs from 3A (very narrow) to 4E (extra wide).
Our new last was born from a belief that comfort should never come at a cost. The 2E last reimagines the classic Barbanera geometry: softer curves across the forefoot, more room for the toes, a gentle hold across the instep. The unmistakable Barbanera character remains intact — our penny, the braided leather, the artisan detail — but every step feels lighter. A balance you don't expect, until you put them on.
WEARING TIPS
What changes from the traditional line
The extra width is concentrated in three areas:
Forefoot — more room for the toes, less pressure on the metatarsals
Instep — a less restrictive upper, ideal for those with a high or full foot
Heel — slightly more generous, though the greatest difference remains at the forefoot
The result is a shoe that doesn't pinch at the sides, doesn't create pressure on the big toe or the little toe, and adapts better to wider feet — or simply to those who prefer not to feel the shoe at all.
